Richard graduated from Reading University, and after a career in business trained at the East 15 Acting School, where he was a finalist for the BBC Carleton Hobbs Radio Competition. Theatre includes: Shore (Riverside Studios), Dad’s Army (two UK No 1 Tours), Donegal Wake (London Irish Theatre), Othello (Rose Theatre), Improbable Fiction (Stephen Joseph Theatre), The Devils (Union Theatre), The Second Maiden’s Tragedy (White Bear), Caligula (Battersea Arts Centre), The Rupert Drop (Hampstead Theatre), Frida and Diego (Arcola).
Film include: 31 North 62 East, Exploits and Save the World. On radio he worked for a year as a current affairs reviewer on The Henry Kelly Show (BBC) and in dramas What Hetty Did (Radio 4) and Closeup Brecht (BBC World Service). Richard also runs Pitch to Perfection, a company helping people improve their public speaking and presentation skills. |
